Can not be beat for the price. You can hardly tell the difference between the Rhino shaft and a $400 carbon fiber shaft from somewhere else. Highly recommend for anyone looking to switch to carbon fiber. You will NOT be disappointed.
These tips are phenomenal if you’re having trouble making balls try using these tip they will change your game
Looks great. Shaft matches up perfectly and the matching extension is nice. I chose the bocote because it looked the most natural. If I didn't tell people it wasn't wood I'm not sure they'd know. This is my first CF shafts and I'm sure there's a learning curve.
Got it for my boyfriend as a birthday present and he loves it! The detail is amazing and the packaging ensures safe delivery. He can’t wait to use it!
My VQR shaft exceeds expectations. I also bought a 5/16-18. The VQR came with the brown leather tip, which I like considerable more than the time crystal. Time crystal mushroomed very quickly and made for some strange shots. I changed that to a Mako Maverick. Now both shafts feel and play the same. I do like blue for tip color. I don’t know what brand your brown leather tips are, but I really like it. I won’t play a micro fiber tip again, but happy I tried it.
I recently purchased a 11.8mm play and a 13mm break shaft. I am very happy with both. Thank You
I bought a Rhino Break Cue a couple months ago and was impressed with the quality. I live in one of the hottest locations in the USA and fear about the heat warping my expensive wood cues so I decided to buy a carbon fiber cue for traveling. The lockup on the Retro is not as tight as the Break Cue but still perfect fit and straightness and plays as well as my $1200 dollar cue. I also purchased the Rhino weight kit and managed to balance both cues to my desired weight. Now all I hope for is Rhino to build an extension. Good Job Rhino now make it perfect please.
I installed a Time Crystal #4 on my Kielwood custom shaft. So far, I am loving it!
It is requiring a little bit of calibration but it delivers consistently!
An attempt to hit the cue Ball softly acts and sounds like a break tip but at regular speed or more, it feels like a medium of any major brand.
I am looking forward to shooting with this tip for a long, lond 'Time! '
NB
It fits perfectly and I like the taper. I wish the brown tip that came with it wasn't hard as a rock. It doesn't hold chalk well even after a good scuffing, I can see why it's discontinued. Looking forward to trying the blue tip when it comes in.
Very nice and feels more balanced
The added weight is also welcome and not too heavy
Japanese Pool Players love the Retro Design very classy Cue
Thank you, Terry
It’s my second Rhino & I luv it. I have a 12.5 also & will probably get a break/ jump shaft too.
