I have two cues and they are made by different cue makers. Upgrading the shat is a big step so when I saw that Rhino Billiards had cue testers, I jumped at the chance to try before I bought them. Best investment I have ever made.
Without the ability to test from the tester I would have possibly have ordered the incorrect cue for my Schon 5/16-14 joint to get the correct match and fit it took the oversized joint to feel and fit correctly
This is a very nice shaft with nice tip smooth and hits as good hard as soft am very pleased.
Plays Very Good! Smooth! Already ordered some for my other cue. Hard to beat the quality, especially at this price. Thanks Rhino
Compared with the Predator Revo 12.4 I have, I feel that I can shoot better with the Rhino 11.8. It could be more about tip size and/or type but I feel that I can put more spin on the ball with the Rhino. The first shot I took with it was a long bank shot to a corner pocket and I made it. It was probably luck but I felt comfortable with it right away. If you are in the market for a LD CF shaft, you cannot go wrong with this
So the shaft ended up being the wrong thread is there anyway you could exchange it for a 5/16 14 thread?
I love this cue!!! You can feel the contact, the spin is true and the shot is good. Best cue I’ve ever owned
Appreciate the care in packaging. Your product is very cost efficient and I’m enjoying its play. Keep up the good work
First, I really like the fill and performance of the shaft. Second, the threaded pin hole is off center enough to create a definite ridge on one side. (Misalignment)
I purposely ordered my glove a size too small. I wanted no loose areas around the glove. Do like the feel of the glove, I really like the Rhino Logo but wish Rhino Billiards would embrace the rhino logo more and make the rhino look bigger on their gear. I would recommend a either full body rhino or a head of the rhino on the glove. That's just me being picky and loving the logo but overall good glove. No regrets on this end.
Name brand carbon fiber shafts can run well over $300 dollars and prices between four and five hundred are common. I'm not that good a player so I won't go into trying to describe or even detect differences, but I have owned several fine name brand shafts: Revo, Jacoby Black, Becue, Pechauer Rogue, and now two Rhino shafts. And at my intermediate level of play I can hardly differentiate between them, except that both of my Rhino shafts cost less than $200. Everything else, fit, finish, quality feel the same. And Rhino offers a wide range of diameters and multiple choices of pin variety plus 30" length. So Recently when I wanted to switch one of my Jacoby cues from Maple to carbon, I went for that second Rhino. And it's great.
SHAFT IS SOLID. THE COLOR ON THE BUTT IS GREAT, THE GRIP FEELS A LITTLE OFF. OVERALL A GREAT LOW COST CUE FOR SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO TRY A CABON FIBER SHAFT
I have been playing pool for a long time, this carbon is a game changer. Summer play is not enjoyable because of humidity and a wood shaft doesn't slide nice, with the carbon shaft, it's a smooth glide all the time. It has a very nice feel when striking the cue ball. The soft tip is great when wanting spin, I found that there is low deflection which is nice. The fit on the butt for 3/8 10 is very solid. Overall a great fit. Very pleased with the shipping package. Came reasonably quick. Not happy with delivery, placed on front porch standing up on a chair in high visibility for everyone to see and possibly steal. Was not notified when arrived and remained on porch for 4 hours until I realized it was there. This should be corrected when delivering.
Bought as a replacement for my McDermott with a quick release joint. I needed to drill out a very small bit of the brass joint Insert to get the shaft to sit flush on my cue, but that’s my cue having a special joint, and I didn’t want to pay the extra to have it done somewhere. Once fitted correctly, the shaft is a great addition to my collection. Smooth, great tip. I am very pleased with Rhino.
I love the length and it feels and plays really well it’s a great shaft
The shaft is everything I hoped it would be. Now, if Rhino made a 3 piece jump cue, I would be all set !
