I have been a fan of carbon fiber shafts since the inception of the Preditor Revo 12.9mm Uni-loc. My Meucci Carbon Pro Uni-loc was my favorite and I think it has a hairline fracture by the ferell, which caused a 'ting' sound on certain shots. So I replaced it with the Q-loc 12.2mm Rhino. It took me a long time to figure out what 'Q-loc' was and if it was the same as 'Uni-loc'.
As far as I can tell the Rhino shaft is a great replacement for the price. Only time will tell on the durability.
I do have to say, I am not a fan of the tip that the shaft came with. I find that it doesn't hold chalk very well. Also I am unclear what the warranty is on the shaft. But for now I am happy with my purchase.
I have had the opportunity to use this cue one time, and I very much enjoyed it. I am pleased with the purchase.
I’m very happy with my both break and q- loc playing shafts! It was great purchase! I would recommend it to all pool players!
Thank you all very much!

I love the look and feel but I was expecting a pro taper shaft as I had played with a few prior to ordering with much success but the conical taper is a little stiff at 12.5 mm for me at least..
I purchased a 30” break shaft for a 3/8-10 joint. I was hoping the fit and finish would be decent for the money. Wow, I was sure surprised to see and feel the high quality of this shaft. Surpassed my expectations by a long way. What a great deal!
Hands down and absolute must have. I play with a Revo 12.8 Carbon shaft. Seen a lot reviews on the Rhino shaft. So, I tried it out love it. About to order a break shaft.
I absolutely love my voyager cue but I would recommend to rhino to switch from USPS because they have been horrible lately. Took 3 weeks to get my cue. Not rhinos fault. But to avoid further problems I’d switch.
The Rhino Carbon Fiber Q-loc shaft is very nice. When i first received it I was off pool for the week and so my wife used it. She shot in leagues and the Tri-Cup Tournament with it. Well long story short I had to buy her one as well. In leagues I have had many questions about it and a lot of interest. The first carbon fiber I had made a "ping" sound on contact. Not this shaft there is no ping sound just a smooth strike. I like it very much, bought my wife one, and encouraged teammates to make purchases as well. Maybe I should contact Rhino about finders fee or profit share.
Great cue, couple things I noticed that kept it from a 5 star.
1. It says 12.5mm tip. My uncle has a 12.4mm and my tip is a little smaller. So it’s closer to a 12.25-12.3.
2. The shaft is not as smooth as I was expecting. Almost like it’s a little textured.
3. My wife’s cue is hard to screw together. Almost like it was cross threaded before we got it.
Overall great cue. Shot great
This is my first cue I purchased that was this expensive. It definitely was worth the money. It slides through my hands, light enough for me to shoot well with and very comfortable to hold and use. The design is also amazing. I love the American flag being a die-hard patriot myself. It also makes for a great grip on the stick. I'm still getting used to it but I definitely recommend using this for anyone. I'm a low skill level player but this stick works great for me.
